I Am Beautiful

Modeled 1885; cast 1925-1926
Artist/maker: Auguste Rodin, French, 1840 - 1917. Cast by the founder Alexis Rudier, Paris, 1874 - 1952

Joining seemingly unrelated figures to create new compositions was a common practice for Rodin, allowing him to discover the rich possibilities of his existing forms.
